This upgrade is only performed at our factory and includes a factory setup.
The RMC 13 pin upgrade features a13-pin output to connect to Roland interfaces like the GR-20, GR-33, VG-88, VG-99 and Axon products like the AX-100.
The RMC piezos accomplish two things: they provide a synth pickup under each of the 6 strings ( also called a hex pickup, ie; hex means 6 ) and they give a harmonic rich acoustic output via the 1/4" jack via a stereo Y cable.
One Y cable is included with the upgrade. You can also purchase spare Y Cables from us.
The 13 pin cable is always sold with the 13 pin synth, ie; Roland or Axon.
Using a Roland GI-20 or Axon AX-50, you can control your complete computer project studio and software instruments in programs like Garageband, Logic, Protools 9, Cakewalk, etc. You can even create notate and guitar TAB in computer notation programs like Finale and Sibelius.
